In-House - $60 includes t-shirt.
Travel - $115. Uniform fee is an additional $60. (You can use your uniform more than one season, new kits are being purchased Fall 2021, ALL TRAVEL PLAYERS WILL NEED NEW UNIFORMS).
General Information
Seasons - The Fall season runs from mid August through late October. The Spring season starts early April and ends mid-June.
Registration for Travel Programs - because of league requirements registration for the Fall travel program will start in mid-May and close begin-July. Spring travel registration will start in October and end January.
Registration for In-House Programs - Fall registration opens in mid-May and runs through end of August. Spring registration opens in October and runs through end of January.
Late Registrations - late registrations are accepted however a late fee of $25 applies and late registrants will only be placed on a team if there is an available spot. Players who cannot be placed on a team will receive a refund.

In-House Programs
2 year old program Must be 2 years old prior to the start of season
This program is designed to have our parents getting involved with our youngest players. This group focuses on getting on the field and kicking the ball in a fun environment. This is an introductory program with parent involvement.
Practices should be 1 per week.
Games are played on Fridays & Saturdays
U4 In-House born between8-1-17 and 7-31-19
The U6 program focuses on having fun while learning the basics: dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting and of course good sportsmanship.
Format - 3v3 games played concurrently. 3 field players, no keeper. (4) 7 min quarters. A size 3 ball is used for these games.
Practices - one weekday afternoon/evening each week. Your coach will call at the start of the season and tell you what day and time your team is practicing. We cannot guarantee practice nights. Practice times are selected by the Coach at the start of the season.
Games are played on Saturdays.

U6 In-House- Born between
8-1-15 and 7-31-17
The U6 program focuses on having fun while building on the basics: dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting and of course good sportsmanship.
Format - 4v4 games played concurrently. 4 field players, no keeper. (4) 10 min quarters. Please note that this is subject to change.
A size 3 ball is used for these games.

U8 In-House- Born between
8-1-13 and 7-31-15
The U8 program introduces "small sided tactics" or "team play" and begins to introduce the "Laws of the Game". A goalkeeper is added at this age level.
Format - 6v6 (5 field players and a keeper). (2) 25 minute halves. A size 3 ball is used for these games.
Practices - Your coach will call at the start of the season and tell you what day and time your team is practicing. We cannot guarantee practice nights and times. Practice times are selected by the Coach at the start of the season.
Games - are played on Saturdays between 9am and 1pm and some Friday evenings.
Travel Programs
U8 Travel- Born between 8-1-13 and 7-31-15
The U8 travel program focuses on the transition to the 6v6 structure and continuing player development. Is an instructional division that gets the players transitioned to the travel environment.
- Format - 6v6 (5 field players and a keeper); (2) 25 minute halves
Practices - two weekday evenings each week. Your coach will call at the start of the season and tell you what days and times your team is practicing. We cannot guarantee practice nights. Practice times are selected by the Coach at the start of the season.
Games - are played on some Saturday, but mostly Sundays
The U10 Travel program is a competitive program focused on challenging players by playing against teams from surrounding towns (e.g. Hammond, Munster, Dyer). The U10 Travel program is an all travel program open to U9 and U10 players. Players will be placed on travel teams based on prior coaches'. Roster sizes are limited by the NWISL and therefore Hobart Soccer Club reserves the right to drop players in order to comply with league rules. Players registering late will be placed on a waiting list.
U10 Travel- Born between 8-1-11 and 7-31-13
The U10 travel program focuses on the transition to the 7v7 structure and continuing player development. Please read each of the following sections carefully.
- Format - 7v7 (6 field players and a keeper); (2) 25 minute halves
- Introduction to off sides
Practices - two weekday evenings each week. Your coach will call at the start of the season and tell you what days and times your team is practicing. We cannot guarantee practice nights. Practice times are selected by the Coach at the start of the season.
Games - are played on some Saturday, but mostly Sundays
U12 Travel-Born between 8-1-09 and 7-31-11
This program is focused on continuing player development. Players will be placed on teams based on the results of player assessments and coach’s recommendations. Players registering late will be placed on a waiting list.
- Format - 9v9 (8 field players and a keeper); (2) 30 minute halves
Practices - two weekday evenings each week. Your coach will call at the start of the season and tell you what days and times your team is practicing. We cannot guarantee practice nights. Practice times are selected by the Coach at the start of the season.
Games - are played on some Saturday, but mostly Sundays
U14 Travel - Born between 8-1-07 and 7-31-09
Players will be placed on teams based on coaches' evaluations and assessments. Players registering late will be placed on a waiting list.
Format - 11v11 (10 field players and a keeper); (2) 35 minute halves
Practices - two weekday evenings each week. Your coach will call at the start of the season and tell you what days and times your team is practicing. We cannot guarantee practice nights. Practice times are selected by the Coach at the start of the season.
